POSCHINGER
This clear vase has a twisted knop at the base of the stem. It is approximately 200mm (8 inches) tall. There is a mark which has been etched or sandblasted onto the underside of the wine glass style foot. This mark according to Ivo Haanstra's Glass fact file is that of Poschinger, Germany. The mark is shield shaped, with a crown on top and a letter P within the shield. The stem which is fairly thick glass has a narrow flare being 20mm (7/8ths of an inch) in diameter across the top (see images below).
